About Us
Westgate Juniors was set up in 2006 and are a relatively new club to the NABC and Newcastle Mini Soccer Leagues as they have played in the old Coast Colts League in the past. At present the club has 12 teams, dedicated training sessions for under 6’s and under 7's and training sessions for girls’ football. The club have achieved FA Chartered Status in a very short space of time due to the help and determination of all its members. This was also achieved with the help of Newcastle's Centre For Sport in the West End where we are based ( Westgate Community College site, West Road).The club was set up by chair Keith Morrice to encourage youths and children from the West End of Newcastle into mainstream football.
